• Site reconnaissance surveys for Environmentally Sensitive Habitat Areas

Environmentally Sensitive Habitat Areas (ESHA) are designated protective areas within the Coastal Zone of California.  Development within the coastal zones requires projects to identify potential ESHA’s as defined by the California Coastal Act.

  • Biological resources assessments

Zentner Planning and Ecology completes a variety of assessments. We consult with the client to ensure that the assessment is completed at a level that suits the project’s needs. Our staff are experts at identifying special habitats and species and we provide our clients with clear and detailed reports.

  • Pre-construction surveys, construction monitoring, and mitigation monitoring

Construction and preconstruction monitoring are important tasks to ensure that a project gets up and running and stays running.  Therefore, it is important to have a team that has the expertise to complete the surveys and provide solutions when necessary.  Mitigation monitoring occurs after construction to ensure that the agency-required standards are being satisfied.
