Ecological design, mapping, and graphics
Some of the most important ecological tools for projects are graphics and mapping design tools. We produce quality graphics that are technically accurate while being easy to read and understand. These graphics often show critical and complex information such that both an expert and a lay person can comprehend; making the graphics useful for a variety of purposes.
Computer Aided Design (CAD)
Our graphic designers routinely work with a variety of plans from project engineers. We produce graphic information such as wetland delineations that can be overlaid and incorporated in an existing project’s engineering plans for more accurate project planning.
Geographic Information Systems - ESRI ArcGIS
Our ecological designers use GIS to conduct a variety of ecological analyses and mapping for large and small projects. We import CNDDB and or species information to produce detailed maps for better species analyses.
Adobe Illustrator, Photoshop, and other design products
When you need to make a bold visual statement, our designers are capable of producing vibrantly rendered graphics that stand out. These design techniques are also important in local and other jurisdictions for illustrating project designs and consensus building.
Global Positioning Systems (GPS) and Global Navigation Satellite System (GNSS)
We use the most updated technology to accurately map jurisdictional areas, sensitive species habitats and other important features on project sites and both large and small parcels of land.
Drone Photography and video
Our drone photographs and video can provide important visuals for both pre-project and post-project analyses. Click here to see a video from one of our recently constructed restoration sites.
